The problem we solve
Why most AI rollouts fail.
By the end of 2027, roughly four in ten agentic AI projects will be canceled — for unclear business value, runaway cost, or inadequate controls.1 The pattern is familiar. A platform gets purchased. A pilot is launched. A few people use it. Most don't. The rollout stalls, the budget shifts, and the team returns to the way they worked before.
Far West Consulting builds the rollouts that don't end that way.
Figure 1 · Our methodology
Three stages. Same sequence on every engagement.
We call it the Workflow-First Sequence.
Workflow
We start with how your team actually works — not how the org chart says they work. The output is a clear picture of which decisions and tasks AI can absorb, which it shouldn't touch, and where the change effort needs to go. Most rollouts skip this. That is usually the reason they fail.
Integration
We embed AI into the workflow, with the governance, security, and cost controls the rollout will need to survive contact with finance, IT, and risk. Tools chosen for the work, not for the demo.
Adoption
We lead the change. Manager cascades, training, FAQ banks, hands-on coaching — the communications and learning work that turns a deployed tool into a used one.
APAC context
You are not behind.
APAC leads the world in AI use — 84% of knowledge workers in this region already use AI at work, the highest rate of any region by roughly twenty points.2 The gap is not awareness. It's depth. The question is not whether your team has AI. It is whether AI is working.
2 Microsoft 2025 Work Trend Index, APAC release (April 30, 2025). "APAC emerges as global AI frontrunner."

Positioning
Built for Taiwan. Built bilingual. Built by a Canadian-trained AI integration and change practitioner.
Far West Consulting is a Taipei-based AI integration and change practice. Fifteen years on the ground in Asia-Pacific. Bilingual delivery in English and Mandarin. Frameworks drawn from change management (ADKAR, Kotter), instructional design (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick), and AI governance (NIST AI RMF, OSFI E-23, AIDA, ISO/IEC 42001).
We are not a platform reseller. We are not a workshop chain. We help leaders make AI land in their organization — the workflow design, the integration build, and the adoption work that decides whether the rollout outlives the launch.
