About

About Far West Consulting.

Taipei-based AI integration and change-management practice. Canadian-led. Bilingual EN + 繁體中文.

Far West Consulting has been operating from Taipei since 2010. Twenty years of practice in total, fifteen of them in Asia-Pacific, mostly bilingual. The work spans five areas — AI workflow integration and training, technical writing and knowledge architecture, change and internal communications, senior copywriting, and executive communication coaching — and they connect more cleanly than they look. Each one is a different way of helping a leader land a complex message or a complex change in front of the people who have to act on it.

Most enterprise AI rollouts fail not because the technology is wrong but because the change effort is missing. That observation is the spine of how the practice is organized. The Tier 1 services productize the AI work. The Tier 2 services bring fifteen years of communications and change practice to the same engagements. The methodology — Workflow → Integration → Adoption — connects them.

The principal

Paul Santone.

Paul Santone is the principal of Far West Consulting. Canadian, based in Taipei since 2010. Twenty years across change management, learning and development, and communications — most of it inside organizations doing complex rollouts that had to land in two languages and three regulatory regimes.

Trained at the University of Waterloo in psychology, Paul has spent most of his career on the practitioner side of change rather than the academic side of it. He has run change communications for global manufacturing rollouts, prepared CFOs for high-stakes investor roadshows, designed corporate AI training programs, and built the kinds of internal documentation systems that survive contact with the people who actually use them. The practice has always been bilingual — English and Mandarin — and the engagements have always been hands-on.

What's new is the technical depth the practice now operates at. Far West Consulting runs a 61-agent Claude Code system with more than twenty MCP integrations — the kind of working AI infrastructure most consultants in this category do not have. The AI work the practice proposes to clients is the AI work it runs itself, every day. Tools selected because they work, not because they impress.

For technical integration work, FWC operates as Paul Santone plus a small partner network of senior AI engineers and integrators — the workflow analyst, the technical integrator, and the change leader, brought to engagements as the work demands.
